Scott Tackett

Scott began playing music a little later in life than most. He began playing in 2000 forming his first band, Kentucky Sunrise. He played locally and regionally until about 2010 when he disbanded the unit just prior to the formation of Hammertowne. During that period, Scott also played a brief stint with Dave Evans and Riverbend and then The Bluegrass Strangers with whom he recorded one album. Scott's strongest musical inspirations are Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard, The Lonesome River Band, and IIIrd Tyme Out. Scott resides just outside his hometown of Olive Hill, Kentucky with his wife Kaitlyn and daughter, Nataley Ann.
