Bryan Russell

Bryan Russell comes to you from the town of Salyersville. This small eastern Kentucky town is also the home of Charlie Sizemore and

Rebecca Lynn Howard. Bryan found a taste for bluegrass at an early age, following bands such as The Lonesome River Band and IIIrd Tyme Out. He has appeared with other bluegrass acts such as The True Gospel Echoes, Cumberland Gap Connection, and the late Don Stanley. During his tenure, Bryan has been featured on over 20 albums.

He joined Hammertowne on bass and lead and harmony vocals in 2014, the year after the band was founded. He is a woodworker and online content creator. You can find him and his wife Cecelia on their Youtube channel Woodsongs By Russell.
